Last weekend I travelled a long distance back to Melaka to attend CNYE9 camp at Hutan Rekreasi and also a Cultural Dance exhibition at the famous Jonker Street.
Finally I returned to the office this morning. The office was freaking unfamiliar to me as if I’ve left for one whole week. Afterall, I’m back to the 8.30am - 6.00pm daily routine boring life.
And the company’s server gave me a warmest welcome to celebrate my return.

Dammit!
There is Monday Blue once in a while, when you actually don’t know what to do or have nothing to do. For heaven’s sake I planned my stuff well last night. Ya know, I gotta check my emails and get the shipment of my hardware as soon as possible. And then, I need to send the documents of the shipment to the logistic department. Since I do not have a network connection at home, I also need to check my private emails, logon to Soccernet to check weekend’s results, some NBA.com stuff, read some online news… I’m so busy!
Well, it’s nothing to do without the internet connection. So I double check my network connection settings, unplug and plug my network cable, check the router’s signal - it’s blinking, restart my pc. Still unable to connect to the internet. Er… wait.

OMFG! My yahoo messenger is smiling!
So I hit the refresh button at my instinct. Dammit! Cannot find server again. What is going on with my internet connection? YM can online, but not for internet explorer, fucking weird huh? Maybe the server doesn’t want me to be bored to the max, so it allows me to connect to YM for God’s sake. WTF?!
Okay, supposedly everyone is offline, so most of the people should be goddamn free. Nope. It’s not the case. Everybody is utilizing their precious time, busy doing their job offline. They are testing the routers through LAN connection, busy writing programs, checking their hardwares, having their meetings/discussions. Wooo…

While I am busy hitting the refresh button! (accompany with some bad words in my mind in order to give more pressure to the server)
9.00am …
10.00am ……
11.00am ………
I thought I gotta do something. Please! Do SOMETHING! Oh ya… I realized that I have an almost-perfectly-done C program, and I could check with it to make it incredibly perfect. Damn I’m a perfectionist.
12.00noon …… ……
I did not modify anything of my program. It’s simply awesome. Duhhh! It’s definitely NOT! But other than thinking in such an optimistic way, what else can I do? I need to test it with a hardware before I make any single conclusion…
Oh ya. Thank God my sample motors arrived. There is at least something to do. I received my samples, checked with the specs. I realized that I do not have enough information and I decided to google. Oh I can’t google for the moment. F-u-c-k.

Opps my YM is disconnected.
Life is waiting… for lunch.
While doing nothing, I keep hitting the refresh button. I hit it for N times, but miracle never happened. Not today.
Nothing to do. Nothing can be done.
Now I know it is extremely difficult to act busy without an internet connection.
1.00pm
Finally, it was lunch hour. I’m not a Christian, so I don’t pray before meals. However, for the first time I still crossed my fingers and hope that miracle will happen after my lunch break.
2.00pm …… …… …
Oooh… it’s connected! Dammit!
All of the sudden I thought of some words of wisdom from Donald Trump, a fucking rich real estate businessman, also the star of The Apprentice. I read this from his book titled “Think like a billionaire”.

“Don’t rely on technology. I don’t have a PC on my table. I don’t have an intercom either. Whenever I wanted to call a person, I yelled. It often works better. Emails are for whims.” - Donald Trump
Thanks Mr Trump for your advice. Now I know why I am not a billionaire, simply because I have a PC on my table. We do have similarity Mr Trump, where I do not have an intercom either. However, I don’t yell.
Well I am just a trainee.
